Made from the only hexene linear low density polyethylene produced in Australia.
All Polycraft boats are manufactured from marine grade, UV stabilized Polyethylene. Hull has a unique seamless dual skin (each skin approx 10 mm thick), which not only is very strong but also has flexible characteristics that give a very soft ride when on the water. Hull not only absorbs wave impact but noise as well, which is great either on the move trolling, anchored when fishing or casting to snags in shallow water using a electric motor. Polyethylene is not affected by electrolysis and has an impact resistance greater than fibreglass and aluminium, making Polycraft boats very usable, low maintenance knockabout boats.
